Yeah add some weight et get faster, the resst will follow. You cannot teach hockey sense like this. Saw him play and i like what i see. Next year he will probably play on the first line in Chicoutimi, we will see if he's that good.
I'm trying to figure out why Wikipedia has Calgary owning Hudon and this pick. We sent this 5th rounder to them in the Cammy/Bork trade. How'd we get it back?
EDIT: nevermind, this is our own 5th rounder, not Columbus' (that we got conditionally in the Wisniewski trade). Someone had done a bad editing job on Wiki and messed up the draft order (which is why you don't trust Wiki when the info is recent).

As for the Hudon pick, it's not bad. It's not my favourite one, but at that spot, it's a good gamble. Very talented player.
Apparently since Gauthier traded the Habs 5th instead of this one to the Flames, Habs have to give their 4th in 2013 to the Isles as part of the Wisniewski trade.

Yeah, I eventually figured that out. At the time of my post, Wiki had the Hudon pick as owned by "Calgary (from Columbus via Montreal)", so someone else derped and confused me.

Apparently, we had to make a choice between giving a 5th 2012 or a 4th 2013 to the Isles.
We decided to give a 4th in 2013 probably because of our 3 2nd round picks already in bank.
Well, I believe Quebecois always have a place on this team at least for that reason, but personally my loyalty is to Montreal over Quebec so it matters more for me to have local kids as opposed to guys from Quebec City or small towns.
Charles seems like a good kid so I wish him luck.
I believe it is exactly the opposite & I'll use Latendresse & Riberio as examples. It seemed like they felt it was their God given right to wear the CH, thus they did not have to put any extra effort into their play because they were Quebecois, thus if you a Quebec born player on this that puts extra effort into their game it is the exception, not the rule.
That said, I believe Louis Leblanc will be the exception.
