Think I got everyone. But I probably missed someone, or left someone on who doesn't belong anymore. Let me know if someone needs to be added/removed. Updated ages/heights/weights, as reported by Elite Prospects.

Me, or the other mods (nudge, nudge ), will try to update the stats semi-regularly!

Dang, Avery Peterson is already 6'3 216? Maybe we stumbled on another bottom 6 big center.

Really wish Lucia would've made the jump to the AHL this year...

I know the Wild signed Pavel Jenys to his elc deal...is he going to be in Iowa this year?

Gustafsson will be playing in Europe this year, right?

Also, is Jenys going to be full time in Iowa this year or can he still go back to Sudbury?

Most of our college guys are pretty big:

Tuch 6'4"
Lucia 6'3"
Peterson 6'3"
Greenway 6'5"
Gilmour 6'3"
Soucy 6'4"
Sadek 6'2"
Seeler 6'2"

Pretty sure that's a conscious decision by the Wild front office, not a coincidence.

I think he has to go back to Sudbury, because he doesn't turn 20 until April. Or does it not matter because he was technically drafted out of Europe, even though he played in the CHL last year?

Looks like we drafted him out of Europe and only went to Canadian Juniors after the fact, thus he's not going to be forced to play in juniors as an over age player like a Canadian would...

That's my guess...I'm pretty sure he's in Iowa this year.

Yeah, and add that to 6'4" Graovac, 6'3" Coyle, 6'2" Niederreiter and 6'3" Scandella, and I think we should be pretty good size-wise for a while.

I believe he was drafted out of the Czech league, so he's AHL eligible. It only matters what league you are drafted out of. Coming over to the CHL post draft does not make him subject to the NHL-CHL agreement.

That's what I was thinking too, but wasn't sure. I thought that all the press releases about his signing and Russo's reporting made it sound like he was Iowa-bound this coming year.

He'll probably get moved once he plays a game with Iowa. Even though he is AHL eligible, he could conceivably be sent back for another season in the CHL like Gabreal was 2 years ago.

He finished the year in Iowa on a tryout contract, then signed his elc deal in early May.

Because he was drafted out of a European league, I do think he's going to be in the AHL this year, not back in Candian Juniors.

Went to camp yesterday, it was nice to see hockey again. I think Iowa should be a lot better this year. Was fun to see some of the players I had yet to watch.

It is painfully obvious we are lacking any high end skill in our prospects, but I don't think that is a big surprise to anyone.

There are some good puck moving defensemen and a lot of size. I didn't see anyone that looked NHL ready though. Reilly looked good offensively, but there is some work to be done on the other end. Especially with his positioning. I would be really scared if Reilly-Dumba was a pair next year.

With regard to Jenys, there have been reports that Sudbury expects to have him back. They drafted an exciting prospect in Dmitry Sokolov and kept another import slot for Jenys.

Based on his performance in the AHL so far, I'd say why not keep him there, but it's uncertain at this point.

He'll be in Iowa.

I'd prefer him get another year in the OHL. Would be the same as Brett Bulmer going back.

His team was a dumpster fire last year, not sure going back would be best.

Yes, I know the other option is going to the Iowa Wild.

I added grades to the prospects just now if you all are interested. Also adjusted Mike Reilly's grade, which probably hadn't been changed since he was drafted. Might be a little optimistic, but interested to hear what you guys think.

So let's see the Twins have forward prospects who are graded at 7.0 or higher (2nd liner is a 7.0)

Joel Eriksson Ek 8.0C (6'2)
Alex Tuch 7.5C (6'5)
Jordan Greenway 7.5D (6'5)
Tyler Graovac 7.0C (6'5)
Mario Lucia 7.0C (6'3)

And then a slew of guys who are 7.0D.

Parise (5'11) - Granlund (5'10) - Nino (6'3)
Zucker (5'10) - Ek(6'2)-Tuch (6'5)
Lucia (6'3) - Coyle (6'3) - Graovac (6'5)
Greenway(6'5) - A. Peterson(6'2 )- Gabriel (6'3)

With the style of play that we like to play and that devastating cycle/forecheck this team is going to wear teams down. That's what Fletcher and Yeo are building.
