Just from what I've seen online and read about Griffith, a good NHL comparison would be Brad Boyes, not the fastest or most physical player, but great hands and offensive instincts.

So we can expect some 40 goal seasons from him and then a nose dive into obscurity? For a fifth rounder, sounds good to me.

Poor man's Danny Briere, similar size and stature, neither are real burners although Briere probably skates better. Clutch goal scorers. Great hands and shot.
