Both teams needs are met with pretty good value from both teams.

I like Hall and Gagner plenty.

We know Hanzal and Yandle love it in Phoenix and work perfectly here. They are assistant captains, original Coyotes draft picks and Dave Tippett favorites.

We have no idea how Hall and Gagner would fit under Tippett or in this market.

I'd say no thanks from a Phoenix perspective. Good value, but I'll stick with what i know.

Hanzal>Gagner

Why in the world would Phoenix make this trade? Yandle IS one of the best D-man in the league, Hall CAN be one of the better forwards in time. See the difference? Hanzal IS an elite defensive forward with some offensive upside. He is a force everytime he is on the ice. Gagner is so meh, that meh doesn't do meh justice.

That math is pretty accurate.

Even if you say Hall is slightly more valuable than Yandle, everyone has to admit Hanzal is tremendously more valuable than Gagner.

This isn't even about value or anything, Edmonton and Phoenix are simply builded too differently to make this sort of deal.

Those to players are basically worthless. Hemsky is over paid for his injury concerns he looked bad last season. Whitney is also injury prone and plays the left side that PHX is stacked on even if they deal Yandle.

Hall hasnt proven as much as yandle true, but his value is worth much much more than yandle ! And Hanzal over gagner isnt even remotely close. Gagner is so underrated its unbelievable, id say there about equal, if not gags having the slight edge.

Hall>>Yandle (not even close)
Gagner=Hanzal

Phoenix would probably do this, they honestly have one of the best young D in the league and adding hall would bring a potential elite winger to the team. Try OEL instead of Yandle and the oil would probably accept

It's debatable if PHX would do the current trade but changing Yandle to OEL makes it a no chance for PHX.
