Too early to make projections on Tinordi and Beaulieu's ETA until they play a few AHL games, at least.

The team will need Tinordi's size and physical play far more in 2013-14 than Beaulieu's offence though, pretty certain of that. Unless you want to hear Therrien say ''soff defencemen'' about 50 times a season, heh. I think they at least have left the door for Tinordi to be part of the 2013-14 team when they decided to not sign a veteran stay-at-home D with some size (a Bryan Allen type) to a 2-3 year deal (almost all of them available on July 1 got multiple years).

Nystrom had 2 goals and an assist today.

Dont fix your hopes too high on Tinordi starting the next season with the Habs.. I saw enough of him last year to have a good idea where he is about in his progression, and I think his first Pro season will be a very tough one for the kid, especially taking in consideration how strong the league will be till the lock-out ends.. As everybody I love the potential and the intangibles this guy could bring to the table in the future but as of right now he is way too raw.. Last year he had the chance to play with a very steady partner in Harrington, hopefully Lefebvre can find someone as good and reliable for him this year...

I'm sure St.Denis won't be in Hamilton next year and one or both of Beaulieu and Tinordi could be NHL by Sept 2013. Pateryn and Ellis should be back for sure.
I think it goes without saying that if the Habs like Nygren they will sign him, my point is more that if he's on the bubble, having so many D prospects in Hamilton might tip the scale. Since we can expect Dietz and Thrower to be in Hamilton next season, it's likely going to be very crowded on the blueline next season as well.

They can but if we are up against the 50 contract limit and he's on the bubble they might not want to go that route.

Erik Nystrom had a 2 goals and 1 assist, including the GWG in a 6-2 win.

Wonderful assist by Archambault...

And now another solid assist by him. Good game this is turning out to be, 3-2 Halifax.

Seriously, I've watched about 6-7 games of Archambault last year and he wasnt even near that good. He has some Datsyukian moves.

Breezer need's to go sit with him and get that head straight.

I was at the game.. Hudon still looks bothered by his ankle, wasnt moving his feet much, was sliding on the ice most of the time not looking very confortable.. That being said, his high skills and high hockey IQ were obvious, he is a kid thinking the game extremmely well, very very good vision, undeniable offensive flair, smooth stickhandling and nice wrist shot, he cheated a bit offensively tonight but his team was in the driver seat all the game long and he his speed isnt at its best so you cant really blame him.. His first goal was a beauty, he just fooled eveyone on the ice with sick slick moves to end the action beating the goaltender top corner with a nice wrister.. The crowd was quite Hudon played on the point on most PP, the kid loves to control the play, I thought he was quite fine but his one timers need work..

I really like the way Hudon plays the game, he has alot of finess in his game and usually compete hard both ends.. will take the body to make a play ect ect.. Hopefully his ankle heal completely before the WJC cause if I had to bet on his chances to make the team, I think they are very good!

Kristo with another great exhibition game tonight. All over the ice, had 2 beautiful assists and one absolute rocket of a goal. Check out the highlights at undsports.com.

It would be Lapointe since he's a forward, but yes, there's a lot of talent there...it would be a shame to see it go unfulfilled. When you put together the type of player development team MB put together, it's for cases like Archambault's without a doubt.

Saskatoon lost again, at least this time it was close, 4-3. Thrower was even, Dietz was +1.

Bozon has an assist late in the 2nd.

Sorry if that wasn't clear, there were a few minutes left in the 2nd when I checked. Yes, the assist was at 2:51 of the 1st.

Au bulletin de TVA Sports ce soir, l'appréciation de @oarchy09 et @Mackinnon9 par Serge Boisvert et Marc Bergevin du Canadien.

Interesting. Boisvert and Bergevin giving their thoughts to TVA Sports on Archambault and MacKinnon.

I liked how MacMillan tried to strip the player of the puck. Even though he didn't get it, he still chased him down the length of the ice and didn't remove himself from the play.

2013 draft prospect Hudson Fasching (#22) has some nice highlights there. Showed a lot of strength and skill.

Ranford is also at 12pts in 6 games, maybe he will be getting a serious look when the lockout is over?

wow our chl prospects are doing really good. Never been this excited about our prospect pool in a long time.

Hudon 13 pts in 9 games
Archambault 9 pts in 9gp
Galchenyuk 9 pts in 7gp
Bozon 13 pts in 8 gp
Vail 12 in 9 gp

Dietz and Thrower seem to have some trouble but its still early.

MacMillan's problem will always be his strength. And if Kristo and ND really want to go far this year....geez, they'll need a much better Gothberg in net....
