lol wut
And Parise isn't on the team, Sykora was on the second line, Tallinder is scratched (even though he obviously played the game) and Stephen Gionta isn't even on the roster. I'm complaining about them trying to relive the moment, when they pretty much ****ed up a lot of things on the Devils side. Pretty sure I talked about a lot more than just the score.

Aware of how the demos work. I'm allowed to be disappointed too. Amazing, I know.

The demo looked awesome. Absolutely love the effort that went into presentation.

Both NHL and Madden look awesome this year. I always get NHL but I think I'm gonna get back into Madden this year. I used to play all the time and was boss at PS2 but ever since I moved to XBOX and then PS3 I suck at the game. Really looking forward to both.

Can't beat friggin HUT in this demo. I did win the first time but wasn't connected to the EA servers so I didn't get the reward pack. Now I cant get passed NJ! Zids has scored two OT winners against me!

got to finals and lost in OT on a Parise snipe...

I got to the end and it was OT and then Carey Price let in the softest goal from the blue line.

I like they say points aren't everything. I like that they say linemates and situations matter for evaluating players.

I don't know how that leads to Elias being listed as a really good third liner or a poor second liner.

I really like the new skating. It's gonna take awhile to get totally used to it, but now it's actually like a real player. I can't just change directions or stop on a dime with poor skaters.

I think the skating needs some tweaking, but I like it too. It really feels different skating with a good skater versus a poor skater.

It's tough though, the gap is really large right now, some guys skate like superman flying and others skate like they're in sneakers. If the gap gets too small, then the ratings stop mattering again. It's a tough middle ground to find, I'm sure.

yeah they didn't need to make it that heavy, I'm not so sure Kovalchuk has that hard of a time changing directions lol.

PS store should be called PoS store. they've truly made that a house of horrors trying to find ANYTHING in there. Let's try under New Releases... nope. Try games, PS3 (cause there's other platforms too of course), then Demos.

There it is - 6 screens deep.

That said, the demo looks blurry to me compared to this year's game. The momentum and physics is dialed way up to impress and just like every year I'm sure they will tweak the sliders to make it more playable. As it stands right now, as soon as a CPU player gets within a stick length of you, you're gonna get pinned to the boards or knocked down. Fine except you try to throw a hit right next to a CPU and nothing happens.

Like the new adjustments for dialing up the FC or sitting back in the NZ and the different labels for offensive system and defensive system.

Faceoffs got real... real hard again. Time to study up all over.

Should be fun after they dial in the sliders and we get used to the major boost to momentum physics.

There are some great animations for skating and a few that make it seem like it's extremely unresponsive. Hopefully they can finetune it a bit before release. Just playing the game more will cut down on a lot of it. I have already sort of got the hang of approaching the puck on an angle behind my own net, which leads to a nice speedy transition behind the net and a quick breakout rather than crashing directly into the boards and passing like last year.

Just a reminder that beating HUT, inviting a friend and beating NHL Moments all give you a free HUT pack when the game comes out.
