It's not like Chael has been the epitome of class himself.

Chael is in Anderson's head, but there's nothing wrong with that. Silva is ready and more hungry to win this fight than any other, that's good for him just like it was for the Belfort fight.

Yep. Like I said the other day when he acted like a hard ass you see in a bar (which was childish), Sonnen is in his head big time.

If Anderson is all about "honor" and "respect", he would have never done that.

Anderson Silva: angry. "Tomorrow I go to fight." Silva could get fined by NSAC for touching Sonnen. Surprised by lack of Nevada inspectors.

Nice little cheap shot from Anderson. I can't wait until tomorrow night. Chael will get finished and it won't be pretty.

I wonder what Anderson said to him. Apparently he told Chael he's going to die at the press conference.

You mean the same way Chael always acts?

Like he has said 100 times already, he has no respect for Chael because he doesn't respect anyone/anything. It has never been about honour and respect when it comes to Chael.

Respect is earned, not given. Chael isn't about respect, nor does he want it so what reason does Anderson have to show him any? He did in the first fight after the finish and it got him no where with Chael's wwe nonsense. As much as MMA needs fans, after Chael loses this I'm hoping it'll drive away a lot of that type of "fan".

Fair enough. Still, you don't pull the crap he did.

So it's wrong for someone to be good on a mic and self promote themselves?

I agree, leave that stuff for the actual fight tomorrow night.

I won't lie though, I like that stuff. A little pushing/shoving and the mean faces.

I like it to don't get me wrong. I just find it hypocritical when Silva pulled that though.

Where does the self promotion come into account when you insult any entire country and people? How about bringing the opponents family into the picture?

Chael can promote, he even does it well and that can't be taken away from him. Whether you draw in idiot hicks or people that are interested in a sport, you draw them and Chael does that. He doesn't need to go overboard the way he has with Anderson. He's promoted fights quite well when Anderson hasn't been in the picture.

Just spoke to K. Kizer. He said he missed the shoulder bump, had no idea about it. He'll look at the tape & determine if it warrants a fine

That's one of the first things he said back in June of 2010. It's nothing new. All he is doing is getting in Silva's head which has worked.

It deserves a fine and I'm sure it will be.

Anderson had to wait just a few more hours to do much worse so it wasn't smart on his part or good for the sport but still doesn't mean Chael didn't have it coming.

A good question would be, what could Kizer possibly be doing at that time? You would think maintaining order during part of the event that his commission looks over would be a priority... Then again, it is Kizer...

Insult Anderson then.

It's simple, you've got boundaries that you're just not supposed to cross and people do sometimes and it's never good for the longevity of careers, nor does it look good on the person later. Tyson has a highlight reel of **** he's embarrassed by now and truth be told he's more known for being a clown then a great fighter at this point and it's just sad because that's just not the way it should be.

It would be funny if Silva gets Chael in a submission and doesn't let go.

If Silva gets Chael in a submission, there won't be any tapping. He'll go out cold rather than tap to Silva again. So, in a way, it will feel somewhat like that if it does happen.

He did it in 2010 so it's ok...? What kind of logic is this?

If you weren't a fan of MMA, I suppose...

MMA really isn't that far off being one major televised incident like that of taking about a 10 year step back in development.

If he doesn't let go, he'll be DQ'd.

I said that b/c some people at like that they've never heard this. The stuff he said in the before their 1st fight was much worse. His stuff now a days is tame compared to 2 years ago.

But he won't admit to losing. Silva did what he needed to do to shut him up and he didn't shut up. He amped up the jackassery and acted like he won, so why treat him like some fool trying to sell a fight when he's shown he'll act like he won no matter what?

It is Kizer after all lol.

It's trash talk plain and simple, the only time I consider crossing the line is when you talk about someone's family, which Chael has done and has apologized for it. One thing Chael has never done in his trash talk is use profanity, which is rare now a days.

Spare us the "holier than thou" attitude. A huge portion of Chaels fans are hardcore MMA fans.

Nothing drives me crazier in this sport then the fans who snub their nose at fighters who are great at self-promotion. If someone who's flipping channels today gets drawn in by some Chael trashtalk on ESPN and buys the pay per view, who are you to talk down to them? Anderson has been a poor draw his whole career and this PPV will probably sell over 1 million PPVs tomorrow.
