Shea Weber

Ok guys, I just finished watching Canada beat out the Czechs's to go to the gold. BUt HOLY CRAP. That Sheae Weber is going to be something for Nashville. I think he is such a good solid defenseman. They are listing him as the second best defender on the team ahead of high first round pick Coburn. He was a steal at 49th overall and I really think he will be one of our best defensemen once he blossoms into the NHL.

Last night was Shea Weber's first game back with the Rockets and team owner Bruce Hamilton gave Shea a laptop computer in reward of winning a gold metal for Canada.

The crowd gave Shea a awesome standing ovasion, he deserves it!

You can bet next weekend when the Rockets are in PG I'll give Shea a standing ovation - much like I'm sure the rest of the crowd will as well.

As much as Maguire went over the top with it, Weber really IS a monster....Nashville will have a very nice defense-corps in a few years. Hamhuis, Timmonen, Zidlicky, Suter and Weber....ouch ouch and ouch!
