Post your Pat Kane proposals here.

To spark some discussion, post any trade involving what YOU think is an appropriate package for Pat Kane.

If possible, a straight-up trade by at least two people would be helpful. Post as many trades with equal value as you can think of, the sky is the limit IMO.

To kickstart things,

Patrick Kane

Jonathan Bernier
Rob Scuderi
LA 1st 2013

That is awful value. One of the worst proposals I've ever seen. Truly atrocious. You have to be joking, right? Scuderi is solid, but he is getting up there. Bernier is all about potential. He isn't proven. And Los Angeles' pick will be a late pick in the draft since they are amazing. You just informed everyone on this forum you are willing to deal Kane for that package. That's a joke. If you're trading Patrick Kane (dumb idea), you better be getting some serious talent back. His production better get matched. The franchise must also not take a step back. We would take a major step back. You also would be willing to trade Kane in the conference? To the defending champions? At least give the Hawks a chance.

Here's my proposal: Hawk for life!

Kane

Toews

Pretty even trade considering they have identical contracts.

The OP and now this. Am I being irrational here or have there already been some awful proposals?

If TT is that good, Kane for Nash is not so terrible. This team can only utilize so many 175 pounders.

TT isn't a lock for anything, and two years away.

Thank God you're not the GM. Why would you want to give up Kane for a worse, far less productive, and much more expensive player? Not to mention how much older Nash is.

Nevermind my proposal. And I will say Nash for Kane will NOT work out for either team.

Nash is BIGGER.

Isn't hockey the game where all of the players stand on each other's shoulders and the tallest team wins?

You are probably saying this since everyone hates the Kane/Nash proposal except for its creator. If you were the first comment, I bet you'd do it. I could be wrong, but I'm basing it off your OP.

LA doesn't have a First in 2013. Kane would fetch one HELL of a package.

IMO, Kane is the DEFINITION of untouchable. I wouldn't trade for Kane because we don't need him. He is though, outside of the Kings, my favorite player. I honestly believe we haven't seen his best years.

I'm serious, I really don't like the Kane for Nash deal for either teams. Plus, Kane won't have anywhere to party in Columbus.

Howson would get an extension if he pulled it off and be off the hot seat. How can you not like a Kane for Nash deal for Columbus? Awful for Chicago, however, amazing for Columbus.

Columbus is a great food scene, like a smaller Portland, and has one of the biggest colleges in it's backyard. Kane would feel at home and have plenty of bars and frat parties to crash.
