per Vicki Hall.

Comeau sucks.

I was such a fan of his. He really just deteriorated to nothing on Long Island.

Re-signed Comeau? I don't know a whole ton about the Flames, but as an Isles fan I know that Comeau is garbage. I've got to think that his roster spot would have been served better by letting a rookie come up, or signing just about anyone else.

The source I saw said $1.25 million on a one year contract rather than $1.5. Good signing at half the price he was last year, he is a servicable player with some upside.

He doesn't get it plain and simple. Always showed flashes with no consistency.

For the price its low risk high reward. If he comes back to a 20 goal player then its a steal of a contract. If not then its 1 year and the Flames walk.

Lol Comeau is not bad. At 2.5 yes, at 1.25, no. Hes a very serviceable 3rd liner with speed to burn and hits like a truck. Solid signing, hes very useful when he plays a simple game.

I don't know why Flames fans are complaining about this signing. This is probably what he was going to sign for in Free Agency, I like the signing as it is very short term, and the amount isn't bad at all. The other signing on the other hand....

People expecting him to be a 30 goal, top 6 forward are mistaken. He became a pretty serviceable checking winger. Changing his game and expectations. This is a pretty decent signing for them really.

If he fails to improve, back on waivers he goes. No fuss, no muss. Believe it or not, I'll call this as a good signing.
