An Allegheny County jury began hearing testimony today in the homicide trial of a South Fayette man accused of killing his wife after an argument over a Pittsburgh Penguins game.

Prosecutors accused Robert Abrams, 42, of beating his wife, Jeanette Abrams, 44, in the head with a hammer and stabbing her after the two argued over the late hour of the Penguins’ triple-overtime playoff loss April 22, 2010.

Something tells me the man had issues that went beyond this argument over a hockey game.

No, Malkin should be on the half-wall on the PP, not Crosby. Sid should be at the front of the net or on the goal line.

or

Trade Staal for wingerz.

Probably Jordan Staal's long term value to the Penguins.

I'm waiting to hear his side of the story before I pass judgement.

People don't kill people over hockey games, and his actions after the murder imply it was premeditated. What garbage reporting.

Nothing in the marriage vows say things have to stay sacred if you start backing the wrong hockey players. I mean there are morals and then there are MORALS, you know what I'm saying?

I'd actually argue that it's not a bad idea to put in your wedding vows that you're allowed to have free reign to do what you see as fit if your spouse ever becomes a Martin apologist.

Well, let's not just limit that to Martin. I mean think about all the Penners and LaPierre's of the world. You need some flexibility in marriage. It's all about compromise.

I'm sure it would vary from locale to locale.

What's WRONG with this guy?

What kind of man marries a woman older than himself?
