The secretest organization ?

Wondering what is the secretest organization is in the NHL??

I would say Devils and Avs.

We're so secret that our beat writer has to put up with making rumours to get his job down. It's funny.

News rarely comes out of Nashville unless Poile wants it to. This is a pretty tough thing to gauge, though, so I don't think there is a real answer.

Homer vote for the Avs.

You hear almost nothing from them.

I hate when teams do this. People's lives aren't depending on the choices they make.

Are you serious?

Its not good when a player consistently part of trade rumors from reliable sources, doesn't make them very happy. ie Bobby Ryan.

Regier runs an incredibly tight ship. Whenever he makes a move, it's usually out of left field because nobody saw it coming. Plus, we usually never got contract numbers for a while after a signing.

They don't have to make it like TMZ, but fans have the right to know some things. Many teams are perfectly transparent without saying everything they're doing.

Oh, by people's lives I meant it's not a life-and-death situation.

This and its not even close.

Specially with Pierre Gauthier, Gauthier was so anti media that no one was allowed to talk to the media no matter what, ex Timmins, head scout, or any Ast GM, only him. By far the most in secretive in the NHL.

IMO the media got him back this past year, IMO he wasn't as bad a GM as some made him seem, not saying that he was good, but not horrible, even with the poor season, he did some good, add amateur scouts, brought in Emlin, Cole.

Best example of media making a big deal about him telling players they were traded before it was offical, but can only tell them where to until after it goes thru the NHL.

Media made it sound like it was the most disrespectful thing ever, which it isn't because he didnt want the players to find out thru the media.

Gauthier is just a horrible ppl person, so maybe that is why he was so much against the media.

As for the new regime in MTL, they are more media freindly, Bergvin already allowed all the scouts, ast GM, ast coach to talk to media etc, but still none of them say anything at all.

How about the Blues?

And in a way I always thought Detroit was pretty low-key.
