The 2013 draft eligible class from the QMJHL was touted as being one of the strongest in recent memory, and they certainly lived up to that billing at the NHL Draft.
In total, 31 QMJHL players were selected, proving to be the league's best showing on Draft Day since the NHL switched to the seven round format in 2004. Six of those QMJHL players were selected in the first round, which is the most since 1998.
