Those girls really did write their numbers as well.

Don't think I've ever had this many bruises on my body before. Comes with the job I guess. Lots of little ones and a few decent ones but none of them even come close to the good old thigh bruises from my goalie days.

Pretty much, added with a memory chip in your brain so you never forget anything and can save video on it (the technology almost exists)

So, follow up again.

I'm looking at a lawyer. Second one I called (first one didn't handle my kind of situation) wants $500, and between the fact that I believe I paid this, and statute of limitations, they think they can get it clear and remove it from my credit history...

Not going to lie, it seems far too easy and simple. But I don't know what other option I've got...

I honestly don't know why that wasn't the first piece of advice.

I'm starting to feel that way...

This process has just caused a hell of a lot more undue stress than I had hoped for. I don't know what I'm doing (which is exactly what they want), and the people I'm calling are either helpful/expensive or jerks/cheap.

If I had money, I wouldn't be in this situation in the first damn place......

If he's a good lawyer he should be able to both clear the debt and get the jerks trying to squeeze money out of you to pay his fees.

Anyway, since I finally got real pain killers yesterday, I took one and finally, FINALLY had a pain free evening. And I FINALLY got some damned sleep. Not as much as I wanted, but I feel WORLDS better today than I have in the past few weeks.

I feel like I'm on vacation or something here.

So, I've discovered they still sell All Sport. Thought it was discontinued years ago. It's still pretty good too.

It was discontinued, they brought it back a couple years ago now though.

I was hesitant at fist because they still had the same logo and packaging from 15 years ago, but I decided to chance it and I'm still alive today.

Still tastes the same too!

Found that out a few weeks back from someone I follow on Twitter (which sounds sad). Don't remember having the best impression of All Sport - it was like a poor man's version of Gatorade.

Yep. It used to be Pepsi's answer to Gatorade before they bought Quaker Oats. Sadly Coca-Cola had the chance to buy Gatorade but passed since they had Powerade - has to be one of the biggest corporate blunders of the last 15 years.

I think I read that Dr. Pepper makes All Sport now. I used to love it way back when, thus my amazement seeing that it exists in 2012.

Why does this talk of discontinued soft drinks remind me of Surge?

Anyone remember that? It was the most syrupy soft drink I ever tried and it had a crap ton of caffeine in it.

Also...I feel strange today. I feel.... happy. Isn't that something?
