If Luongo is a choker, what does that make Theodore?

I hope we trade Garrison's rights before the start of free agency.

Loungo choked hard against Chicago two years in a row before the 2011 playoffs.

Loungo cap hit- 5.3 million Theodore- 1.5

Nobody will argue who the better goalie is but Theodore is still a bang for your buck kind of goalie. He was in the same position Loungo is now when he played for Washington.

So getting beat means choking? Ok.

Apart from his usual October failings, this is completely false.

On many nights he was the only reason the Canucks won..

Yeah? I remember Chicago clearly being the better team in year 2, and "Buffy the Luongo Slayer". Byfuglien totally had his way with the Nucks defense the entire series.

Hey Florida fans...
Does Garrison plays on the left side or right side?
I have never seen him play before, outside of some highlights, and am very curious.

Now I say none. On RDS they said that vancouver were asking for Huberdeau and two other prospects. I laugh so hard, I thought I would die.

Also, I don't think we could replace adequately the forward we would salary dump them, like Upshall. We would be really thin on forward depth, or skill for that matter.

The lack in forward depth would be more than made up by Luongo. But it seems like Gillis is going to drag this out. Ugh...

I am just going to enjoy seeing Van pay 9-10 million for their goalie tandem next year. Now that's what I call fun!

From OFP: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/flapa...hers-camp.html

GR: (paraphrasing) What about your ongoing conversations with Vancouver?

Tallon: Vancouver? About what?

Oh, and the full quote from Tallon:

"Vancouver is in the driver's seat. I'm willing to listen to anything they have to offer."

God I hope Luongo stayes where he is or is traded somewhere else. This move would kill my fantasy team as I own trio of Theo, Clemmer and Marky

I hope Gillis keeps asking for Hubs++ or Bujgstad++ as I don't see Tallon accepting this. As much as Tallon is prone to bad decisions I don't think he would trade his top 2 prospects who are his own picks. Definitely not for massively overpaid goalie Panthers don't even need.

I think it's a bit different here in Fla. Yes, he's made some questionable signings and trades but I think this team is still on the up and up and we haven't had a GM who actually cares as much as Tallon. I think whatever mistakes he's made in Chicago as far as contracts and signings, he has learned from and won't make again. He traded Olesz for Campbell, who's exploded here in Fla. People complain about the Jovo signing because of the contract, but from what I heard that was the signing that really opened the door to other players wanting to be here, so in my mind it was a good signing. I hated losing Booth regardless of what his contract was, because he was my favorite player, but he really has done some tremendous things here in Fla and I am excited to have him. We've gone through so many GM's over the years and not one of them got us to the playoffs, but he has. It wasn't easy but his blueprint is working. We're all excited about this team now, even though right now were anxious to see who he brings in next.
