how about Adam Rotter? Has ever broke the news on anything? He's still talking about the McDonaugh singning on his blob.

One day this past season Cerny called out Rotter for basically just taking all the reporters notes, quotes, etc on twitter. It was pretty funny. I'm a big fan of Cerny, I know he is an employee of the team, but he works his butt off with Blueshirts United.

Zip is probably the worst, I think I defended him once because everyone said he was kind of a dick. But I think he actually is.

I'm not sure what Parise will net but geez, if youre going to pay 7.8 and assets for Nash and Parise wants 8, seems like a no brainer.

The Rangers need another D.

If/when there is a lockout,Sauer could be ready to return when the season begins in January.

Do they put DZ on the right side?Erixon takes the 3rd pair LD with Stralman on his right.

The Rangers aren't going to play in the Garrison or Carle $5M ballpark. There is not a single right handed shooting D worth pursuing in free agency. Old men.

if Rangers sign Armstrong and Burish tomorrow and meaning Prust and Mitchell are gone. i call that a good day 1....especially when those are most likely cheap contracts.

No **** Sherlock

They are taking on an enormous contract with the CBA expiring and the NHL looking to shrink the cap.

I hope to god that isnt the agenda. That is a horrible day. You dont go into day 1 of free agency focusing on 4th line grinders. They need scorers but im not surprised your idea of a good day is adding tough guys

My beef with Parise is the jersey he used to wear. I respect him as a player and all, but it will take time to cheer for him.

The world knows we need scorers.

But it was the Devils fourth line that basically knocked us out of the playoffs.

Need help there too.

never said not to get depth players. but it shouldnt be at or near the top of youe list of priorities on day 1. Scorers are more desired and harder to get. 4th liners arent.

In terms of Radulov, Poile said that — through Radulov’s agent, Jay Grossman — there is a strong belief the forward will return to the Kontinental Hockey League. If this happens, Poile all but conceded that it would be close to impossible to get any sort of return for Radulov’s rights.

“I think the next time will be when his contract is up again or what have you,” Poile said. “I think it’s less and less realistic he’s coming back to us or some day in the NHL. I think we had our time, but I think it’s over.”

Sather can talk to Grossman tomorrow.

Ola, you can be dismissive all you want. That doesn't change the fact that Nash has declined for three straight seasons. That doesn't change the fact that he has NEVER been able to lead CBJ to anything resembling a decent team. That doesn't change the fact that statistical analysis has blown the "he's had no help" excuse right out of the water. That doesn't change the fact that Nash has underachieved relative to his salary and reputation for pretty much his entire career.

Stop with the ******** HFB insult of "I watch the games and you don't." I've been watching hockey games for a LONG time. You know what I see when I see Rick Nash? I see Valeri Kamenski. I see Petr Nedved. I see Keane and Skrudland. I see the shadow of EVERY ****ing "star" who was supposed to come to MSG and elevate his game. Talent is important, but talent doesn't mean **** if it isn't backed up by heart and effort. If I had to choose between all effort and little talent or all talent and little effort, I take the former every single time. Sure, you might not get much more than a Petr Prucha out of effort without talent, but at least that's better than Pavel Brendl and the rest of the talent without effort crowd.

Rick Nash is a paycheck on skates. He spreads that attitude to the rest of the team. Even the CBus fans who want a king's ransom in return for him acknowledge that. You don't win with players like that. I learned that from watching a couple decades worth of hockey.

I'm expecting Pens to offer Parise something in neighborhood of 10 years, $75-80 million.

Don't think Zipay's a dick. May seem like it but I think a lot of that is because you only have 140 characters on Twitter and a lot of it are taken up by the question he is answering in the tweet. He has no sources though. Brooksie really is the only one that breaks anything.

so you think Kubina is a bad idea for 3rd pairing depth? Stralman is not a for sure coming back
i would do as yo said and move DZ to RD 2nd pair , Erixon on 3rd pair LD then find a replacement on RD until Sauer is ready, hopefully ready

I'd rather we steer clear of both, but if I had to pick my poison, I'd rather sign Parise.

I'm still hoping we target Jurcina. My forward list consists of Doan, Moss and Mueller.

Yeah well...I wish some 4th liners would have fell out of the 4th liner tree and Sather could have upgraded the one we used against Jersey if they are that obtainable !

Only if he'll accept a manageable front loaded contract, though.
