what? weber is right handed and plays the right side. why would they both plan on the wrong side when paired together?

I also suggested the Road Warriors.

Marty behind ECHL defense. I might just make the trip to see that.

"Nick Kypreos ‏@RealKyper

Doesn't appear #Rangers will be making any offer on Parise. Less of coarse he was kidding about his 'no way' comment and forgot to tell NY."

Umm. Can't tell if Kyper has an inside source saying that NYR is not making an offer or Kyper just has been totally out of the loop and missed Parise saying he's keeping "all options open."

Why does it suck to be us? Is Parise worth 8M/year?

I would be glad to see Semin sign with us for a couple years at 5-6 million.

Despite kyper's post, I would be shocked if the Rangers didn't even try to make an offer.

Sorry for your loss, man. Hopefully things get better for you and all involved relatively soon.

Agreed, but I think Kypreos missed Parise saying that he "... was put on the spot a little there" and "we'll see how things go"

Calling it right now, WOULD NOT BE SHOCKED AT ALL if we end up with Semin tomorrow.

If we sign Semin, we'll have a better team in the regular season but we'll be going into the playoffs with the same team. Once the calender flips to April Semin doesn't exist.

Semin and Torts, I don't think they can coexist. He'll be riding the bench most of the season unless he does a complete 180.

The perception that Semin lacks a two way game is completely overblown. He can be a hard worker in his own end when he wants to be. Even so, if he's put on a line with defensively responsible linemates, he'd be ok. If any coach can motivate him, Tortorella can. If he doesn't play up to expectations, Wolski him. No biggie.

While I would probably agree with this...why should a coach have to motivate him?
