It's a lot different with parents. They're not crude and aggressive towards the foreign language. If you pronounce something "funny," they'll probably think it's cute. Haula's dad coached American style football, so a lot of former US football players would room with them. It's a much more language immersive situation from what I imagine you went through.

Karn doesn't teach power skating like normal coaches. Most players haven't seen them....

Is it me or did Granlund look pretty buff compared to the other prospects? I swear I could even see the sheer muscle is his neck alone.

Except that Coyle was part of last year's Wild dev camp where Karn also taught.

There could've been some new things, and besides, to me it seemed more like he was referring to some of the new guys more.

I eat healthful food, sleep well and don't drink too much, and I'm not even a pro athlete!

Not a bad episode. It was not unexpected, yet very interesting, to see just how serious the players need to take their nutrition and sleeping habits. Also, 10-12 hours of sleep a day? Damn.

One thing that stands out to me in these episodes is every time I see Yeo in an interview, I can't help but think how different this series would be with Todd Richards instead.

Thank you Chuck.

Yeah this one was a bit bland. Was very surprised by the 10-12 hours of sleep thing. Nearly an impossibility for people these days.

ok, is the 25 second intro featuring the guy sewing "Becoming Wild" onto the back of the Wild sweater really necessary at the beginning of every webisode?

I know, Yeo really seems like he has his **** together, can't wait to see how he handles the team this year.

It's like little tasty nuggets to get you hungry for when they give you the whole god damned rotisserie chicken.

I know. That guy has to get tired of sewing it on every episode, too.
