Did not expect this, figured he would still be upset they traded his boy.

EDIT - Now it's been changed to Breyt. Nice deal, I think he could be a solid fourth-line forward. I still remember that hit on Corvo he had earlier in the year.

He was the captain in Charlotte right? Anyway, I think they expect him to be the 5th center and sort of an insurance policy in case Welsh can't hack it in the NHL. THat's just my read on it.

Yep, and that's a good guess. He's also a good fit for what they were looking for on the 4th line and played well while up here last year. Not a bad option to have as your #14 forward that's for sure.

He was the leader of the Checkers, I never seen him take a shift off in the AHL.
