Kimmo might be getting rated off the last few years performances. At 37 years old and slowing down a bit, I think he's in the 20-30 range. I'll certainly take it though.

Bieksa is far from being a top 30 defenceman in the NHL.

Last I checked it wasn't the panthers who offered Garrison 5X5. It is much more likely that a team like Edmonton does. You should be concerned about paying 5 million to a defensemen not ranked in the top 50.

Went with Subban, but I think you could make a strong argument for at least 5-7 guys on the list... Myers, Visnovsky, Johnson, etc. Haven't seen much of Coburn but I've read a fair bit of positive stuff.

Yeah, who would want a defenseman that can score 44 points a season, log 22 mins a night against the opposing team's top forwards, hit, fight, agitate, offer leadership, and pick up his game in the playoffs?

Did an Oiler fan just say "bieksa is far from being a top 30 nhl Dman"
He's probably in the 30-35 range..which is not FAR from 30.

Its ironic..does Edm even have a Dman as good as Bieksa??? lol
40+ points, hits, fights, ups his game in the playoffs, and a + player..
LOL only an Edm fan can rag on that!

PK Subban. He can hit, fight if necessary and generates a lot of offense on his raw talent alone. So underrated.

The funny thing is that Edmontons young guns will expose Kevin Bieksa and Jeff Petry will get more points than Bieksa next season.

And RNH will win the heart, and Edmonton will make the playoffs......
