Still though, they shouldn't be ranked. Even though they won, they need to fall.

We were at Buffalo Wild Wings watching the UT game and when the game finished a bunch of UT fans just went nuts, and the rest of the bar in unison all shouted, "It's KANSAS!" really loud. It was hilarious, because all the UT fans just stopped. I can understand cheering a little, but acting like it was such a huge win.... C'mon Man.

That happens with every team in every sport.

I attend A&M as a UT fan and I have to deal with people going nuts every time UT gets scored on which is pahetic considering A&M is the school the destroyed the rivalry.

Not true at all. A&M tried to keep up the rivalry, opened up spots on their schedules for the next several years to keep it up, and Texas refused to acknowledge that fact. Said they had their schedule booked for the next 15 years. ********.

Thanks

I'm in a good location, Manhattan's power lines are all located underground, so chances of losing power is really rare. Also the location in Manhattan where I live is 180 feet above sea level, so no real chance of storm surges.

Feel bad mostly for the people living in NJ/CT/PA etc. They're the ones who are going to have basements flooded, trees knocking down powerlines, or storm surges flooding coastal towns. **** sucks.

Here I filled up a huge water container, and put baggies of water in the freezer to keep my food cold in case Sandy knocked out the power. I live in clear view of the harbour in Halifax, so I was even trying to watch it roll in late last night... nothing came.

These storms are generally great in the North because you get the tropic warmth and humidity which is awesome in late October, but usually the systems has been downgraded to tropical storms by the time they hit. They still pound us, but at least its quite safe.

can't believe I'm watching NBA basketball right now. Oh hockey please come back. BTW who are these guys on this Mavs team, without Dirk you have Marion and parts like Roddy B and that's about it from last year. Such a hodge podge of players. If this team wins 50 for the 12th straight year I'll be surprised.

They actually have a decent amount of depth. People seem to forgot that the championship team was a pretty weird mix of players which made it even more awesome to watch.

Barely got touched by the hurricane in Ontario. I walked to my hockey game last night in the storm and it was fine. Glad I wasn't in NE USA though.. wow

LOL I'm with you. Never in my life have I watched an opening Mavs game, or any NBA game for that matter.

At least they won...I guess...Still hurting inside...

Ya didn't even catch the NBA Title game? Even I buckled for that one.

Can't believe I'm going to be filling my spring time hockey fun watching Kentucky and SMU in basketball. Blarghhhhs.
