Sure, but I like the idea of one of our tough customers being around longer. Mercs are fine for a while, but I'd rather a guy who stays around for a while and gets emotionally invested in the team. Unless Berg thinks the cap is going to come way down, I don't really mind giving Prust a similar contract to Moen. Prust would also take a lot of PK time.

Laraque is going to be even slower than before. Lucic is going to skate circles and score goals. If, and thats a huge if, Lucic drops them he will likely pound old BGL to oblivion. It wouldn't happen however because the Bruins would want Lucic on the ice instead of the penalty box and they definitely want the Habs to ice the NHL's slowest player. Matching up Laraque vs Lucic means we have him facing guys like Horton, Krejci, Bergeron, Seguin, ect.
