Unreal signing by Bergevin. Was starting to get scared he wouldn't sign.
So happy with this.

Neil might be a better fighter but in no way shape or form is he a better hockey player.

Great deal. I was thinking that he would ask for at least 2 million. I suppose that a 4 year contrat made him willing to accept a little bit less.
Good thing. We needed to keep him for the sake of depth. That guy can fill a hole almost everywhere.

Very happy with the cap hit, would've prefered 3 years, but since I figured he would get about 6.3M/3 years, I'm more than ok with 7.2/4.

Brings different things to the game, but i can definetly see why some people would say Neil is better.... but for the Habs need, Moen will be fine....

I am not sold on that. Moen is barely a 20pts guy, and Neil reached that several times. He is a better fighter and he is just annoying as hell heh.

It's not even close for me, even if Moen made 3 and Neil made 1.5 I'd still way rather have Moen.

Great deal for this guy - he will continue to be effective over the term of the contract.

Moen isn't signed to score points.
He's a great defensive player who can play 17 minutes a night easily if need be.
He's also a main stay on the PK.
I'll take the 7 points less per 82 games played that Moen gives you when you consider all of the great things he does that Neil could never do in a million years.
