Vasilevski will stay in Ufa, Russia for 2012-13

Hi guys, there was a rumour that Andrei will be playing in CHL this season

but it was reported by the head coach of Ufa's MHL Semak that he stays in Ufa for the next season at least also he said that Andei might get some starts with the big KHL team

here's the link for the interview:
http://www.championat.com/hockey/art...m-silnykh.html

Rafael Khakimov, the goalie was promoted to VHL team, how will you solve a goalie problem?

answer: We've got Andrei Vasilevsky.Plus we've got three boys from which we're gonna choose two to play. They are on the same level.Summer camp will give us a tip who's gonna be second and third on the team

It means that you are sure that Vasilevsky is staying in Ufa and gonna be MHL team first goalie?

answer: Yes sure.No doubts.Hi might be called up for the KHL team as well.

also here's a link to Salavat official site the summer camp opened yesterday there on the six photo from the top to bottom Vasilevsky with the main team

Does anybody think Vasilevsky could play CHL next season? No chance, he has valid contract with Salavat Yulaev.

He would benefit more playing in the CHL instead of MHL but whatever

Would prefer for him to be in the CHL but as long as he gets a #1 workload I see no reason to complain.

Pretty much this.

Also the title of the thread needs a slight re-naming. I was confused as he'll before I read the op.

No matter what I'm sure he'll be in north America some time soon. Like others have said, as long as he's getting a number one job to start somewhere (top mhl teams are very good) he will be fine

Good for him. That means playing time in arguably the 2nd best league in the world.

Not surprised, not really happy about it either but one of the reason's could have been the playing time he'd get with Mississauga, cause I'm sure they'd plan on using him and Spencer Martin equally in the net instead of a clear cut starter which he probably would've liked. Maybe if his rights are traded in the future then he'd go. So it's not really a bad thing either, he's going to get the workload in Russia.
