Don't believe I've ever had that one. I'm partial to Alpha King.

Definitely look for it. Went on a buying run at the Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn and Algonquin Binny's this past weekend and found a sealed case along with a few other 22oz's. Alpha King and Zombie Dust are right there in terms of quality I just prefer the Naught.

Their brewery is 2 minutes from my house. They have a cool restaurant in there.

Naught is also like 10% abv, substantially higher than ZD or AK. If you like dreadnaught, you'll probably also really like Arctic Panzer Wolf. personally, I think APW is slightly better than DN.

Yea, it's really nice in there, though it's normally packed.

Saw an interesting looking care that I had never even heard before at a Jewel parking lot, the apparently Norwegian-made Fisker Karma.

Examples of the car (not the one I saw):

Not many times that a hybrid plugin makes your head turn when you see it. Costs over a hundred grand, though.

And when Consumer Reports got one, it broke down in the driveway during their review...

Not a huge movie guy, but just bought two tickets for the new Batman movie. Friday night, opening weekend, middle seats, and at the theater that serves booze. Definitely worth buying now, and picking our seats, for $12/ticket and avoiding the madhouse it will be trying to find tickets and decent seats.

Hey y'all. Haven't been here in a while. Sorry I've been goin through alot of ****. Although I doubt anyone here even remembers me :/

Dhf I'm sorry to hear bout work. If it's any consolation ive cut myself on glass multiple times while I was on the clock. Also have stepped on quite a few nails. The sad part is I work at a carwash and there are jut nails lying around in the chemical room or parking lot.

Yeah I can't wait to see that movie. I'll probably go the following week to avoid the crowds though, unfortunately.

Not sure if you're near Wheaton or not, but they just built the same theater that I'm referring to there...

Another looooooong day at work with almost nothing to do. Not complaining, of course, as pay's pay, but these empty days would be a bit nicer if the place's wireless didn't block something like 2/3 of the internet....

Tomorrow should be busier, though.

Shogun, been dealing with the same thing for the past few months really. Actually think I'm going to quit in the next week, after I burn up all my PTO... just got an approval to do so from the woman a few minutes ago actually.

eh, I need the pay, so that ain't happening.

Job market still stinks (especially in the local public sector, which is where I really want to work) so can't find a replacement job, so not even remotely going to be rocking the boat until I have a new gig lined up.

Pay really isn't an issue here at this point. Rent is paid thru the remainder of the year, woman's salary just doubled recently. I just need to buy time at this point to have spending cash. In October I'll be starting my personal training certification, and that's a 6 month proces, and have been told by current trainers and manager that finding a job after that will be unbelievably easy with the program I'm choosing. Pretty excited to get the ball rolling on all this finally... seems like I've been stuck in idle, killing time, for the last 2 years.

Yeah, know what you mean. I've mostly been stuck standing still for just over two years now since I lost my job with the Illinois General Assembly. I've worked with various companies, political campaigns, and even a local baseball team since then, but mostly just off and on-looking for work with local governments or with various universities to no real avail. Burned through most of my savings, but at least I've been able to make ends meet enough as of late to start saving again and never have to move back home with the parents, which is the last thing I want at this stage in my life.

Oh well, fingers crossed. Recently applied for a job with a local township that I'm mildly hopeful for, but I've felt that when applying for jobs in the past and nothing came from it.

Same here, had a decent IT career going after HS thru some guys I know that started a VoIP company. They got out by Sprint, who then laid me off because I didn't have a degree, even though I was one of the best at that position and had worked it for years. Since then it's been a lot of temp jobs, up until the one I have for now. My biggest thing is I just need to get the **** out from behind a desk, I just can't do it. It's just absolutely miserable and mindnumbing for me. I'm perfectly fine with a salary of $50K, and some extra cash here or there with classes if I want.
