Buck and Pat don't realize Alvarez is actually pitching to even more contact and throwing slightly less than he threw last year. Averaged 93.3 MPH on his fastball last year and throwing 93 on the dot this year. Yeah, he is clearly overthrowing to get more strikeouts.

It's like they just say stuff just to say it.

Jays need to apply for crazy ground rules like Tampa Bay. If the Rays can hit home runs right up into the middle of the roof, the Jays should be able to claim that any ball that makes it into the 5th deck is a homer, no matter where it goes.
