I think you got it backwards - which team offers him long-term success?
For long-term success he should be looking for a team who has:

6 Cup finals appearances in the past 18 years
4 Stanley Cups in the past 16 years
21 straight years in the playoffs
12 straight 100 point seasons

Once he has sorted through all of the teams with these credentials, then he should choose the one that best suits him.

Parise would arguably be the biggest FA signing in MN sports history. Key Term: Free Agent.

It is awful quiet when it comes to the Wings?? I would not be surprised to see them come out of this with both of them!!

I would be somewhat surprised that either of these guys would want to leave the teams that drafted and developed them, where they played their entire careers, and go to division rivals.

That's where Minnesota or Colorado would be safe haven, from having to go back to NJ and Nash and get booed wearing the jersey of a hated rival three times a year. Parise could get away from that anywhere in the West, but for Suter, it will be harder.

It's all up in the air, but I'm expecting Parise to end up either in Chicago or Pittsburgh and Suter to end up either in Detroit or Chicago (with Chicago only being an option if Parise doesn't go to Chicago). Honestly not expecting either of them to stick with their current franchises.

Past 18 years? Why not go past 100 years? Montreal FTW.

He'd get to play the same amount of games with Rocket Richard and Nicklas Lidstrom after all.

The Oakland Raiders and MinnesotaVikings. Al Davis' son convinces Sutrr he'll be able to play a more physical game, and Parise gets to go home and wear his favorite color (jk) but I had fun with it
