Pittsburgh is very cheap. I bought a nice 3br, 1.5 ba brick ranch in a pretty good neighborhood for $77k. Apartments are really low too usually, but of course it depends on what you want.

Yeah, we got Polish Hill, Troy Hill is mostly German, Southside mostly Ukrainian/Slavs, Squirrel Hill is Jewish, Hill is black, Bloomfield Italian, etc.

Nightlife? I go to shot and beer bars, so I won't be the best at that one. There's a bunch of clubs in the Strip and I think a few at Station Square. Southside is mostly old school bars during the day and get kinda clubby late.

Ok thanks. That house price seems good, I think I'll check pittsburgh out.

Nutbar: I never heard anything good about Atlanta either. Savannah is cool though, but tourists kinda ruined it.

I think the only state I haven't been to is Texas

Travel all around this country (and the world) and I don't really have issue with many of the places I visit.

It's not that bad sums it up.

And the other guy who said Nashville, agreed. Very nice city.

College program?

Dr. Philips and Winter Park are awesome. Sand Lake is not bad either. Heck even Celebration is nice.

Dallas, Texas is quite nice. Only problem there is that everything is so low-density and spread out that it takes forever to go anywhere. The suburbs are quite bland too.

We have a winner. I do have family in Winter Park and a buddy of mine from HS went to Rollins. That town is awesome. Im just saying overall beyond the parks and nicer suburbs; I went to a church event in a rougher Orlando neighborhood and I was a tad worried.

come to Alberta or BC, you'll never use "best" to describe a US city again.

West side of I-4 past new Amway is definition of rough, no arguments there.

I want to head down to Texas just to try all the barbecue and fried foods. Are you aware a guy there makes chicken fried bacon?

Most of the cool parts of The Dark Knight trailer take place in Pittsburgh.

But really, Pittsburgh is excellent. Cost of living is a major plus. Also, this is the view a ten-dollar ticket to a baseball game gets you (from the Tigers series last weekend):

I'm sure not only one.

Another great thing about the South (yeah, Texas isn't usually considered the South, whatever) in general is that if you're of normal weight, you can go there and instantly become super thin and sexy.

Explain

I've heard complaints about the transit there, but that's it. Is there bad traffic or something

Bad traffic here, and in DC, but you won't hear me complaining about this being a "bad city"

Texas is one of those states that I would love to visit but I don't think I could live there.
