Had to go with Reider, 40+ goals this last year is pretty incredible.

gotta go with Bunz, especially given we didn't draft a goalie this time around....leaves us with Dubnyk, Bunz, Roy and a bunch of question marks for goalie prospects. and look at Bunz's record the last 3 years in Medicine Hat and the fact he was WHL goalie of the year this year.

Musil. Easily.
How on earth did Marincin get in ahead of him?

@ I Am The Liquor....because Musil is seen as a bottom pairing d-man, whereas it is hoped Marincin will be a top 4.

Musil is going to be a shut down dman.
Derian Hatcher style.
Was Derian Hatcher a bottom pairing dman?

I'm not here to argue who should be ahead of someone,The MAJORITY of people think Marincin will be better. So I am going to post what these results show.

Gernat is really overrated IMO. He has a ton of work defensively to even make it to the NHL at all one day. His stats look inflated because of the team he was on IMO.
I would even rank Musil over him who is almost a shoe in to be an NHLer in some capacity IMO and likely a 2nd pairing guy.
Pitlick is the #4 prospect, he's almost NHL ready and has a good deal of upside.
Bunz would be #5 but goalies are always difficult to project.

I wouldn't put him ahead of Marincin at this point, but I think Musil is very underrated on this board (and HF in general).
Voted Bunz though. This was a tough one for me.

Rieder, 40+ goals in the OHL. If the guy turns out he could be exactly the secondary scoring this team needs.

i'm just going by the massive amount of info i have read on Musil...likely a bottom pairing d-man with potential to be top 4. we can only hope he turns into a Derian Hatcher type.

I think it's safe to say that we've got a number of underrated prospects because we've been drafting early for a number of years now.
I agree Musil has good upside.
Pitlick and Hamilton have tons of upside.
Gernat just needs to put some meat on his bones and he'll be a beast.
Roy had a turn around year and Bunz had a great year.
Rieder scored a tons of goals.

Tough call between Reider and Gernat for me.
Think Gernat is a better prospect than Marincin, though.

I myself am surprised with all the Gernat love over most players. He's become really overrated around here.
