If you're a forward trapped back on defense and a skill guy dekes you out, so be it. But for someone whose made a career out of being a defensively responsible center, it really gives you a headache wondering what on earth Zubrus was thinking making a beeline for Williams there, giving Kopitar an acre of ice to score on one of the easiest, slowest breakaway's I've seen in a playoff game.
When I saw Scuderi give away the puck, firing the puck right up the middle of the ice right onto a Devils' stick in the slot area for a glorious scoring opportunity, and Quick had to bail him out with a big save, the first thing it made me think of was it's a perfect example that the Pens aren't the only team to turn over the puck at the worst possible time.

Unfortunately the Penguins got cold at just the wrong moment. You could see it happening about six games before the end of the regular season. The team wasn't firing on all cilinders anymore and Fleury started to play sloppy. Vica versa the Kings got hot at the right moment and are now leading in the finals obviously. Quick is simply a more consistent goalie I believe, but Fleury had been great all year, except when it really started to count.

It started with that back to back against the Islanders, we wouldn't have been 4th if the team played the way it should have. Anyways this season is over, no point talking about the past, let's look forward to the draft and the off season moves Shero will make
The best part of this series is Flyers fans pretending to want LA to win, whereas when the Flyers were still playing you would see comments about them feeling sick to see Richards hoist the cup etc. Its awesome.
I know if our management thought Crosby or Malkin was soft/lazy/bad for the team and traded them only to see them go straight to the cup with another team would burn
Yet another in a long stretch of awful moves by the Flames.
Hartley and Crawford both potentially with jobs again next year...that's terrifying.
