The eve of the CHL season is upon us and I noticed that we don't have a designated prospect thread yet. I have made this thread for general discussion and results. I don't have time to track individual stats this year so if someone wants to set up something more comprehensive they are more then welcome to.
Rheged did an awesome job of it last year, and the game reports by AndersUlfBobby were really appreciated (by me anyway!). I hope they volunteer their time and admirable effort again.

Highly agreed and also appreciated
As a member of AIH, I'm hoping (if my wife allows me) to cover a lot of SJ and some junior (mostly to watch Scheifele, Lowry, Sutter, Kosmachuk and Yuen). I'll post those articles on here as they come....
But obviously as a HF member I'll be adding my opinions here too
So, after reading this thread, going on some forums/webpages and writing my last post. I decided to get started before talking to my editor or my wife. Hahah we'll see how that goes!
Last year AndersUlfBobby kept us updated with game results; I won't be doing that and will leave it open for him (or anyone else) to repeat. (I'm hoping he does it since he did a great job last time... far better than I could ever do haha)
What I will do is three things:
Keep a list of main stats
Give small breakdowns of what I see
Present links to any larger articles I write on AIH
As you may notice below, this is not all of our prospects, but for the main part will be the ones I will be following. If you ask real nicely, I may add others; we'll see.
You may also notice that the AHL/SJ comment on my table below is redundant... ya but to make things easier on me I'm keeping the format
Feel free to let me know any time I make mistakes.
Woop see now that Garret has this going too, might just keep international/NCAA stuff here.. but for the time being I'll leave the whole thing up
I would say keep it going...
Mine is going to be more me watching and commenting on IceCaps games, my AIH articles and maybe 1-2 junior games a week.
Yours will be much more interesting and complete... I'd like to suggest adding Kulda to the international pool too
EDIT:
I'll make mine more advance staty (as much as I can with no TOI or Corsi for non NHL leagues) and commentary so mine will be far from yours... don't worry

Cool, sounds good to me!

He does look good out there. 67's are hammering on him again, like in the playoffs last year. Ended up having to get stitched up after a hit in the 1st. Score is currently 3-3 at the end of the 2nd. Scheif with 1A so far.
Here is a blurb from the latest post by Renegade Stylings , who is the colour analyst for the Saskatoon Blades and a HF scout : Adam Lowry - I had such high hopes for this Jets draft pick in 2011-12. But a wrist injury slowed his development and forced him to miss time for the Swift Current Broncos. The Broncos appear to be on the upswing and if that's to continue, Lowry will need to be the driving force as captain. He's a big body, is physical and has some true offensive talent. He's one of my favourite players in the league to watch and I look forward to seeing him fully healthy this year.
He was on a tear last year , then his scoring softened as he played through the wrist injury that eventually required surgery that ended his season. Named captain , smart smart kid , great character , son of a former NHL player and coach , tons of intangibles to go with a 6'5'' 200 plus frame . Could really put together a strong season this year.

Have a hope that Scheifele is going head to head with our next draft pick tonight.
Would have to move up in all probability , but we do have that option now thanks to the GM that some posters are moaning about on another thread here.
Wow! 67's tied it up with 1:20 left. With 40s left, Colts break out on a 4 on 2, Scheifele draws players to him, then throws it over to Camara and he notches a hat-trick to put the Colts up 5-4.
Scheifele then seals it with an open netter. He finished with 1G and 2A

Silly goose... the real GM we have to thank is the ingenious Don Waddel who knew ahead of time that we'd rather have the 2nd round pick in 2012 than a first round quality player from 2008

Clutch.
Looks like a goal and 3 apples for Mark. He also got the primary assist on Bell's goal in the 2nd period. But exceptional start for him non the less.

Well the 2nd and 3rd from Chicago is also very nice but yes , that is a nice parting gift from Mr. Waddell.
We could do some serious damage in a very strong draft , either by keeping all the picks or moving up if there is a player the Jets really covet. Cheveldayoff did comment that he hoped to be in a position to do that if desired sometime in the future. The future could be now , or next June more precisely.
They could even trade down a bit if they value some players that would be there for a trade down and get more picks for the future. I mentioned this in a couple of threads , but Chevy has done pretty much everything right this off season imo. We still have to develop of course , but we are headed in the right direction imo.

Thanks for the summary !
Where were you getting the info from if I may ask?
