Huh? The Caps got blown out by the Toronto Marlies, I was a BB defender until that night, after that I was done with him.

Does that mean I know where Parise is going? Hell no.

Don't see Parise signing here, ......McPhee has to make a trade for a top 6 player......this team cannot stand pat with what it has.
I agree about Galiev, but all it will take is a preseason hatty and Galiev can be in the opening day lineup. If even just to start the year. I see a hole at scoring wing, and until I see someone fill it, I will not rule out the kid. If Rib can dish, and he can score, he can stay.

I am still reeling from George moving Eakin. Otherwise he seems very content to retain those he drafts, and fills holes with UFA's. I don't see a roster trade coming, that is for sure.

Maybe he stands pat this summer. That will certainly help Galiev's chances.

Whitney is really the only high profile winger to sign (unless you count Boyes' redemption deal). Everyone else in a holding pattern until after Parise signs.

Montreal added two fantastic bottom six forwards for $3.5 million. Impressive.

The stretchering of the player off inspired me to see some players falling off them...

The last one gets teabagged not once, but twice hahaha

Not that the price is particularly cheap mind you, but I agree.

Someone sounds upset that Pitt is rumored to be getting Parise. Why attack the messengers in life. He was the first to report it on my twitter feed which includes the paid messengers.

Get over it.

Why do I have this strange feeling the caps will sign someone within the next hour?

Sammuelson came to mind for some reason

If he is only planed a squad filler on 1 year Deal I would be happy. Low risk high reward potential.

You said a guy predicting something that was obvious to a lot of people had to happen is proof he should be trusted, his ****ing name is censored out, not even Penguins fans believe him.

I'm a little surprised he went that low. He seemed like a prime canddiate to be wildly overpaid. $4m per....I think that's a fairly reasonable contract. Definitely some risk given Parrenteau's career track, but could end up a bargain.

I had him suggested a few days ago for 3-4 years at 4-4.5 could have been a decent option....not upset though.

Not a bad deal for PAP, but I didn't want him here. Colorado is certainly being aggressive with the second and third tier players.

Yeah, i expected Parenteau to get overpayed big time... $4 mil is a solid deal. Colorado will be great next year.
