I hope the Caps do something soon so some attention ***** here would stop cluttering the thread with soccer posts.

Wondering if that means that Caps are still trying to retain Semin.

Between the Caps not doing anything and my fantasy hockey entry draft at a stand still after I made the 1st overall pick and needing to wait around till the 3rd and 4th picks this afternoon is going by painfully slow.

From SI live blog.

Is that implying that we haven't done anything at all as far as offers? Because not even kicking the tires on someone would really piss me off.

Oh my fault. Was referring to the PAP signing. Wouldn't it make sense for GMGM to offer a contract like shat COL offered to PAP if we were sure that Semin wasn't coming back? It was a pretty reasonable contract and he's arguably the 3rd best UFA forward option.

I don't think it's implying that at all. And even if it said so outright, without some sort of quote from McPhee, I'd call BS.

Idk. I mean with regards to McPhee I do get the whole you never know. But it's alot easier to believe when you got other players and agents. It wouldn't be hard to ask a signed player who contacted you and have them all not mention Washington.

But who knows because "if we knew the game we'd be in it"

So you think SI asked every signed player that question about the Caps? Obviously not. Not to mention the dozens of yet-to-be-signed players.

I'd think you are slightly outnumbered bro. LOL. Like 6 billion to 500,000. Keep figting a futile fight if you want.

Adrian Aucoin to Columbus for 1 year @ $2M. Would have loved to get him at that price.

Cos Oates wasn't hated by Caps fan before he got here......and when he did get here, he didn't go through the motions while collecting a stupid paycheck.
