Devils fans are pretty spiteful right now. Seems like most of them have hit anger by now. Soon it should be bargaining.

edit: We lost Gaborik, and I don't think we've gone to such unclassy heights as Nashville and NJD fans here.

edit2: Nashville fans are way more classy than NJD tho

And the pain is definitely getting worse. These pain meds are only lasting me 3 hours at best and I'm only supposed to take them every 4 hours at most.

Thank god I see a doctor tomorrow morning. I hate the idea of getting on something even stronger, but until the dirtbag insurance jerks give the okay to have my wisdom teeth out, I don't know what choice I have.
Not to hi-jack, but they'll pay for pain killers, but not the source of the pain? Sounds ridiculous. Could just have them yanked and set up a payment plan with your dentist's office?

Tooth pain can be some of the worst pain. I'll never forget when I got spacers about 8 years ago (those little rubber band things that they put in between your molars in preparation for braces). It got to the point where I actually started crying because I couldn't even bite into a thin crust cheese pizza without my teeth hurting uncontrollably.

Oh my insurance is just chock full of non-sequiturs like that.

Almost did not make it through the night. Got like 3 hours sleep.

And I am heavily considering talking with the oral surgery department about just doing it and if the insurance later for some reason does not approve it, seeing if I can just set up a payment plan.

I got engaged last night.

Fireworks actually did most of the work for me.

Anyway, that is all. Carry on.

Dude.

Just do it. Hell, I'm gonna throw in couple bucks if it goes to that as I can sympathize with the pain. Back in 2005, I got my kneecap dislocated and ACL blown to pieces. That pain was nothing compared to 2009 infected tooth nerve. I couldn't lie still or anything without keeping ice / icewater in my mouth, and still the pain was unbearable. After I first got off hospital and exceeded the daily safe dose of codeine and paracetamol I went back and got some strong opiates. Then next morning I got finally to the dentist and got complete root canal to it. Best feeling in the world when they got the infected root out. My head wasn't gonna split in half anymore.

Nowadays, if anyone gets even the slightest toothpain I urge them to go see a dentist RIGHT FREAKING AWAY. It can escalate, quickly. Luckily here in Finland, root canal / tooth removal at the dentist at public dental facility costs around 50-60 (75ish dollar$ or something), and the dentists are pretty darn good on the public side.

I consider myself lucky as my all 4 wisdom teeth just fell into place nicely, without any pains or discomfort. Or at least that's what the dentist said after looking at my dental x-rays.

But hey, an action plan for you. Go remove it now, today. This instant. Payment can be figured out later.

Congratulations!

Meanwhile, browsing HF at work because I can. Any Finns close to Jumbo come say hi to me, I'm at Prisma, mostly standing on the home entertainment section or around it.

Do you currently work there or just a gig? I sometimes visit Jumbo when my hometowns shops don't offer enough and internet isn't intresting enough.

Congrats Enge! Is she AARP like you in the commercial?

Watched 50/50 last night. Hard movie, but funny in parts. A lot better than Ted.

Its not infected. At least not yet. I'm going to be calling the oral surgery department and my insurance again later today to see if there are any developments or if I can just go ahead and plan on having it out tomorrow. That would be the best I think. I need all 3 or 4 of mine (depending on if the 4th exists and is hiding or not) out, especially the two on the left side of my mouth.

Just got back from the doctor too. The doc looked in my mouth and cringed visibly. Was nodding and shaking his head like he wanted to say "thats ****ed up" to my recap of all the events so far, like that doc from Office Space.

And they did not switch my pain killers to morphine. They ADDED morphine. I am expecting to be beyond ****ed up as soon as the morphine kicks in here. Its an extended release formulation that I'm gonna take once every 12 hours, so hopefully that means I can finally get some sleep again.

Also gave me enough for well over a week of doses.

This is seriously the most pain I've ever imagined I could have in my mouth. Whenever the pain meds start to wear off it feels like me teeth are starting on fire. And the whole left side of my face hurts to touch at times because its all one big interconnected nerve and those damned wisdom teeth are throwing off enough pain that EVERYTHING hurts at times.

So... just took the morphine and another dose of the existing pain meds. Lets see how I feel in a half hour or so.
