Wow. Do you guys just not like the guy or what's his problem?
It depends on whether you get good Falk or bad Falk. We saw quite a bit of good Falk during our winning streaks last year. He was big, physical, and aggressive. He cleared the net and was a force on the ice. Then for the rest of the year we saw nothing but bad Falk. Played like a sub-6' defenseman, refused to hit anything, didn't hustle, and just generally got worked over by the other team.
Good Falk is excellent, but Bad Falk shows up far more often than anyone around here would like.
Falk is tall and was an above average defenseman for the Wild last year, but he's a below average defenseman compared to the league. He's still young and has upside, but IMO not as much as other prospects.
i would deal falk for a second simply because we wouldn't be offered that for any of the other guys that are jammed up fighting for the same spots tbh. He could be just as physical as Stoner but with better skating and better offense. COULD be. Plus the more picks we have the better as we will have to replenish the ranks from within with all that money on three players.
Looks like the ****ing all star Jr signed with the Yotes.

Good for him finding a home.
And honestly a two way was pretty much all I could see anyone offering him anyway. Yeah he did good for us last year, but as beat up as the Wild were, so could pretty much any number of NHL cast offs, career European players, and AHL journeymen. Warren Peters and Jed Ortmeyer were two of our most reliable players last year and that was only because they were not injured and the most experienced of our AHL call ups.
