As much as I like Falk, that's absolutely a big yes.

You're not thinking of Carolina's Justin Faulk, are you?

I mean, the Wild's is decent. But not worth that sort of selection.

There's really no problem with Falk.

Getting a 2nd is kind of a big return.

It depends on whether you get good Falk or bad Falk. We saw quite a bit of good Falk during our winning streaks last year. He was big, physical, and aggressive. He cleared the net and was a force on the ice. Then for the rest of the year we saw nothing but bad Falk. Played like a sub-6' defenseman, refused to hit anything, didn't hustle, and just generally got worked over by the other team.

Good Falk is excellent, but Bad Falk shows up far more often than anyone around here would like.

Falk is tall and was an above average defenseman for the Wild last year, but he's a below average defenseman compared to the league. He's still young and has upside, but IMO not as much as other prospects.

Im sure with the leaders that are on the blues roster that we as blues fans would see "good Falk". And yes, I mean the Falk on the wild.

i would deal falk for a second simply because we wouldn't be offered that for any of the other guys that are jammed up fighting for the same spots tbh. He could be just as physical as Stoner but with better skating and better offense. COULD be. Plus the more picks we have the better as we will have to replenish the ranks from within with all that money on three players.

I don't get it. Can someone explain?

I totally get it. Just wanted to see if someone had the balls to explain a sexual innuendo, lol.

I'm surprised he signed a 2-way deal.

I thought he was looking for a 1-way contract?

Market probably dried up. Hopefully he gets some playoff experience with the Yotes. Wonder where Semin is gonna sign.. And Doan.

Good for him finding a home.

And honestly a two way was pretty much all I could see anyone offering him anyway. Yeah he did good for us last year, but as beat up as the Wild were, so could pretty much any number of NHL cast offs, career European players, and AHL journeymen. Warren Peters and Jed Ortmeyer were two of our most reliable players last year and that was only because they were not injured and the most experienced of our AHL call ups.

Think Selanne will hang them up after this season? I just cant believe the guy still scores at the pace he does, I'd say he has a good 2-3 years left in him if his legs don't fall off

Sad day. We all knew it was coming, but it still pisses me off to see such a talented player waste his career on such a worthless fakey franchise. He and Saku are a few of my favorites all-time.

Darn, was hoping Teemu would go back to Winnipeg for a year, would've been really cool.
