I love the idea of MB for one year. You have a still fairly solid goaltender with a winning pedigree who could mentor Crawford. Once Brodeur is gone before the 2013-14 season, Crawford is back, motivated, and in a contract year.

Seeing Brodeur in the Indianhead would be cool i guess...in an NHL 12 sort of way. But not in a "Wow! Now the Hawks are winning the cup!" sort of way.

CHI needs a goalie upgrade. If Brodeur's willing to move, he's a fit; but I wouldn't want to commit for more than one year.
Marc Crawford said that Chicago also makes the most sense.

So you're cool with another year of Crawford?

They still can. They also could include Crawford in the deal with the combination of Morin/Pirri and some sort of a draft pick.

I don't see the Kings dealing the league's best backup to a conference rival.

Sounds like Detroit is going to be getting at least one of Parise or Suter, if not both.

In what world is Bernier the best back-up in the NHL? He's been incredibly average over his first two NHL seasons..

They're both like to see each other in the playoffs again, plus there's just as much demand for a starting goaltender in the east.

Hilarious! TSN says Suter asked team NOT to come to his farm. Does not want them there. Oops Det.

Teams needing defencemen watching Chicago. If capped out #Blackhawks land big UFA, Hjalmarsson becomes available for picks, prospects.

Wouldn't sign Brodeur to anything more than a one year deal for like 2 million. Guy is getting old and looked it last year.

Or sign Suter, trade Hammer.

Score at the same pace as last year, defend better.
