Konopka got 925k and we signed Burish for almost 2 million...is there a difference between these two players, other than one being a center and one being a winger?

I think given the turnover in the bottom 6, and Mitchells comments in the paper yesterday about turnover, DW wants stability

Burish gets 4 years from San Jose at approximately 1.8 per year.
So thats less than Taco.

4 years??? WTF? Was this another one of DW's man crushes that he just HAD to have? After all, Burish has a Cup and DW wants former Cup winners, right??

4 years? Damn.
If its just under $2 mil, the best way to look at is would you rather have Burish or Mitchell?

Why are people thinking a 4 year deal for a proven 28 year old depth guy is bad, especially for a team that has been a revolving door lately.
Unreal.

as long as the price is right, the length isn't that big of a deal

Also, Burish's last two years (his years with the Stars) were career years point-wise. He'd easily outscore Taco if he keeps it up.

Not a horrible signing; don' like the length. Burish can succeed in easy minutes...

that answer is easy. Burish brings more to the table if he's not scoring than Mitchell did.
