I don't understand how the Leafs aren't doing a full court press for Parise. he's right ****ing there in mississauga. Burke should be fired over this. im not saying parise would come here but I think its ****ing retarded they are going to meet with him.
He was the Leafs' leading scorer in the 1963–64, 1966–67 and 1969–70 seasons, and the team's top goal scorer in 1970–71 and 1972–73. Keon was considered one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, and one of the best defensive forwards of his era. He would usually play against the opposing team's top centre, and developed a reputation for neutralizing some of the league's top scorers. In 1970–71, he scored eight shorthanded goals, setting an NHL record.
Ridiculous how a team can just sit and fail for so many years and be rewarded with a potential dynasty.
If you look at Tavares who is getting 5.5 for 6 years, who is much more important in NYI and has had better numbers, then you can see Eberle, Hall, Hopkins, Yakupov, will be making very reasonable contracts. All they need is a UFA D or two and they have a dynasty on there hands.
