Ditto. I like Moss, so I'm likely being bias. However, I think he is a clear upgrade to Pyatt.

I think, more hope this is a good signing. I do not understand why we are willing to let Brule walk though. I thought him and Chipchura played really well together with a nice physical edge.

Other teams have more than one local reporter.

Has Brule signed elsewhere? I would not have qualified him at the necessary amount either. Now that we can offer whatever amount we please, I sure hope we give him a good deal to stay.

Could be they were hoping to get any one way deal for more than one year at more than one million aav. Phoenix calls, seems like a great fit, feels he can improve his stock here's, why not say yes.

I'm betting 2 years and $2 million per. We can slightly overpay. We have to make the cap floor somehow.

BTW, Moss is now our 2nd tallest player on the roster behind Hanzal.

I don't think Brule has signed anywhere but I hope he stays. He played hard and that line was often our best line in the playoffs. He seemed to like Phoenix too.

In terms of health issues, the new strength & conditioning guy is out of Calgary. Maybe he had some input regarding Moss's injuries/health? He's not a doctor but he would probably have some insight into DM's training and/or work habits.

Edit: And I suppose Playfair might be able to shed some light on Moss's game as well.

Only ten forwards in the nhl had more points. We can't replace that. We are going to have to give Hudler 5x5 to come close.

Hudler is much younger and may explode points wise on another team. He was playing second fiddle in Detroit. Whitney was awesome but his age has to be considered. For his sake, I hope he can continue to play at such a high level for a long time still.

Interesting side note: Moss is a cousin of Toronto's Phil Kessel.

P.S. This forum is great for new Coyotes fans like myself Hi all!

Welcome Ted!

I'm hoping this turns into another Torres like move. Gave us some good depth.

We need to reach Cap floor. Only way to do it is over pay a bit.

I'd rather overpay guys that have worked in our system and want to stay here than gamble and hope that this guy can stay healthy and figure it out here.
