For an injured LW that makes less than league average I would much rather have Latendresse than Armstrong. But I'm not sure one had anything to do with the other.

I sure hope that's not all we'll get because we still have a one-line team

Happy for him, if anything he's more useful than Parros at this point so it was good move on Anaheim's part.

I see it more like:

Patches - Desharnais - Cole
______ - Pleks - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Armstrong
Moen - Nokes - White

Leblanc is in the minors with Geoffrion and the rest of the incoming class.

Armstrong isn't the end of the world but it's pretty low hanging fruit considering Prust, Barch, Tootoo etc are available.

Someone retweeted from TVA that 10 teams are interested in Prust and I think the habs are in on him.

Guys like Prust and Tootoo will get $2-3 million on long-term deals, for the price this is a solid signing.

Fill that blank with Jagr and I could live with that.

True, but those guys would cost twice, maybe 3 times the price. Armstrong is definitely a "buy low" situation.

It's not MB fault. If the guy didn't want to sign here, he doesn't belong here. Can't hack the pressure of being a hometown boy I guess. If its the case the Habs are better off without him, I'm sure that MB has lots of leads today!

Supposedly Lats wanted to avoid the media circus. So you know who to blame.

My god the man-crush some of you have for this guy is ridiculous. Yes he's a hometown french draft pick that we traded away. Doesn't make him a god.

30!? Holy ****
