They tried to sign him to pretty much the same deal, he wanted to come closer to his kid.

good move, Sens! now he needs to stay healthy and put up the good numbers he did in '10 when he scored 25 goals in 55 games after being traded to the Wild.

Like this move for Ottawa. Latendresse is no superstar but I think he can score 25-30 goals a season with the team.

Hockeydb has him listed at 6'2, 230 pounds. What do you consider an oversized forward?

Silf IS a lock for our roster barring him being the worst player in camp. Zbad on the other hand i think ends the year in ottawa but I doubt he starts the year there.

The guy had played less than 30 games in the last two seasons COMBINED.

Twenty goals from him would be mana from heaven.

I thought he was 5'11. What was his draft height?

Good deal for both Lundin and Lats if they can stay healthy.

Not a bad top 6
Silfverberg, Zibanejad, Regin and Da Costa might want to be part of it too. A lot of internal competition in Ottawa next year.

Not a bad top 6, but a beautiful top 9:

Silfverberg-Spezza-Michalek
Foligno-Turris-Alfie
Greening-Smith-Latendresse

at least 8 guys who should approach the 40 pt mark and easily surpass the 30 pt mark.

Why does NHL have no idea for what team the player played last season ?

Great signing for Ottawa. Great price and could end up being a low risk, high reward situation. The guy has size and can score goals. If healthy he's a good top 6 player.
