I know these things shouldn't matter but it makes me like the signing even more. He has something to prove.

Where are the anti MT people who shouted that no free agents would want to sign here because of MT? Armstrong just proved that wrong as per his TSN interview

So afraid of PA Parenteau. What if he turns into a fluke? Can't have that for someone who's looking at long term deal.

Therrien seems like a polarizing figure but the people that get him seem to love him.

You know what, i also like this deal, big at 6"2 , and i remember when he completely WIPED OUT saku koivu, and then souray went after him and got the pens a 7 min powerplay lol, but hes definately got some grit

cant go wrong with the terms or the price

and the fact he was a habs fan growing up is great to hear, but i remember him mentioning it on off the record with landsberg, he mentioned how his dad was also a big fan of the habs and an even bigger fan of subban, but armstrong said something about how he wasnt rly sold on subban, but this was when lupul was stiring **** up, so he could of just been catering to leafs fans

good deal tho, im glad, clearly armstrong - eller - moen , meaning leblanc starts in hamilton which is also good

Dude. It's Colby Armstrong. He JUST got bought out. You think Therrien did a miracle? Armstrong was looking for anyone to give him a chance.

Unbelievable.

I like Parenteau for the right price but my biggest fear right now is overpaying Parenteau. We don't have Taveres.

Only in Montreal do we get excited over a player that even Toronto didn't want!

Is he a free agent? check
Is MT coach of this team? check
Did people go over dramatic that people wouldn't sign? check
Did this prove that theory wrong? check

Yes, he is a project. But, come on. People were way to drama queen-ish when MT got hired. He may not be a "sexy name", but this just shows that there are people out there who would sign. I guarantee you that had the Habs not signed him, there were teams out there wanting to sign him.

Thats the real truth, he would have said all of the same things if the Phoenix Coyotes gave him a chance.

Good gawd! He's a reclamation project who was told by the Leafs that they didn't think he had it anymore. And who's being a drama queen? You....check.

I would pay a lot of money to see Armstrong hit Marchand like he did Koivu.

How anyone can be annoyed or spiteful towards a no risk move is really just mind boggling.

That's how I see it. He had some good seasons. Gritty player. Can chip in a goal here and here. Won't brake the bank either.
