Nice signing. I was worried that we would make a reactionary signing and overpay a 4th liner like we did after we let Orr go and after we let Brash go. Asham is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the league.

Love the Pruster... but you can't be paying a guy 2 million+ to pot 5 goals. This is the right type of player at the right price.

A few years back, I played a game in Asham's "home rink" in Portage la Prairie,MB. As a lifelong Rangers fan, I was seriously freaked out by the giant mural of him in an Isles jersey at the end of the rink. Threw me off my game!
