We lose Zach... fine, we have an up and coming plethora of defensmen prospects, we survived without him (though missed the playoffs but not due to missing him). We lose Marty... it was gonna happen within the newt year or two anyway. It will be a slight annoyance, as he made it clear that he knew he was the second on the list and if he leaves cause we didnt have time for him it seems slightly childish. Regardless, it will be time for us to know if we have a goalie in our pipeline who can become our starter.
At the end of the day our success will not fall onto the shoulders of losing 1 or 2 players, but rather the make up of the team as a whole. Will we be considered cup contenders, no, but we werent considered that this past year and look how that turned out. My attention is shifting, not from losing players who are seemingly not wanting to be here anyway, but to our financial issues and the long term future of this team.
Maybe not purposely, but the fact remains that he's severely holding up our plans.

I wouldn't say that. We haven't heard anything from Parise and his agents. The only things we have heard from reliable sources suggest that a decision might not come until tomorrow. I'm sure Lou knows the situation better than we do.
