Aucoin is a good DMan. I don't know why he didn't garner more interest.

Not bad. Kind of like the Martinek signing last year. Steady veteran defenseman still very capable of playing. He'll be good for leadership and being a mentor to the younger Blue Jacket defensemen.

Nice to see him go for another year. He missed the entire LA series with an injury. He was real important for our young D while he was here and should help the guys out on the Jackets too.

Not bad.

I still remember after the lockout when Aucoin was our captain. Terrible. But glad he has bounced back. Good signing for the CBJ, will provide some good defensive depth.

Somewhat surprising Columbus managed to sign him without needing to give him more years. No disrespect to Columbus, but if a player signs there on a one-year contract, it must have been a bad market for the player.

great city for aging players and many of them know it, but I agree it is surprising.

I will miss you Aucoin. However we have plenty of D in the pipeline wanting to get in.

Coyotes fan, here.

Love Adrian Aucoin. He was a tremendous competitor for us.

I have to say, though, he REALLY ran out of steam as the season wore on. It's like he got too old all at once. He has really started to decline at a fast pace.

He probably need to be a reserve D at this point. Guy needs rest during the season.

So what's CBJ's asking price once TDL hits?

Only half kidding.
Good signing for the Jackets, especially since they moved Methot out.

Did Phx re-sign Morris and let Aucoin go or was Morris already under contract? If they did re-sign him then they're idiots, do GM's watch their own teams? Morris is waaaaaay behind Aucoin now even though they're both old.
