You'd get Pierre Gauthier on the line chilling in Vermont.

Working on something doesn't necessarily mean getting it done. Somehow, like somebody said, you'd think that if Jagr was really interested, he would have signed by now. Feels to me, now, like he's using us. Maybe this time though, there will be less customers for him and he'd be "forced" to sign here.....we'll see.

Sounds about right to me.

Clearly he has a "big fish" on the line somewhere, it's just a matter of whether or not he reels it in. Someone call Jeremy Wade!

Signing Jagr would be a big mistake. He was able to get decent number last year but that wasfrom playing with Giroux the whole time. And by the end of the season, the tank was empty.

No thanks.

If Jagr signs the Armstong signing makes even less sense:

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Jagr
Bourque-Desharnais-Cole
Moen-Eller-Gionta
Prust-Nokia-White

^Now that's a great lineup. Yet we signed Armstrong...

or waiting for an offer from Habs......word supposedly is no offer from Habs as of yet.

If Rick Dudley managed to trade for Buff and Ladd, i say you just never know .

Depth. Considering the amount of injuries we've had recently, you never have enough players.

Maybe MB is working on a trade but some FA need to sign first for it to go on. I'm guessing they want to add a top 6 player. Pretty much the only thing we still need.

We have to much D, Weber or Diaz could be part of a trade with one of our centerman.

Gomez is still here. I suppose that they need to see the whole picture before deciding his fate.

I don't know the price or the contract length that he's looking for but Semin is the only first line winger still on the market. For all the hate, he got decent number last year, the same as Jagr. He's far younger and a change of atmosphere could help him.

How many games do you think all 13 of those players would be healthy for?

Dont you remember how many injuries we had in the last 2 years? Having depth is never a bad thing.

Being used as always I think. We're missing one top 6 player and I don't like our D at all, we're missing a top 4 D. I think our solution is via trades but I could be surprised...

Their Lebron style tv show.
Maybe they are jealous of Schultz and are demanding prime time!

They are waiting for team with a real chance to win the cup to make offers to them. That's obviously not us.

So I'm confused. if you get a top 6 forward and a top 4 D, then are we going to be cup contendors? Or battling for 8th place again?
