She may not want to stop working.

Yeah. Zach is already rich if she didn't want to work she might have stopped already.

Zach can choose the Flyers and they still stay in NJ and she can still work.

I brought this up in the main board thread as well. Flyers may be a legit threat here if their offer is as crazy as reported.

Yes, but she's an intelligent woman with a college education. She doesn't want to sit around all day and shop/count money. You'd be bored out of your mind after a week.

Her input matters because he's not going to drag her somewhere she doesn't want to be..

Yeah, that actually would sound fun as hell. You could screw with students all day and not do your job because it wouldnt matter if you got fired

I'm gonna go out on a limb, and I may get a hell for this, but I'm gonna say it.

I'd rather have Marty back than Parise if we could only have one.

Is it the most logical thing? No. Just a personal preference. Marty has been my favorite hockey player ever, and still is. I don't want to see him leave.

I don't think it's an either or thing with Zach and Marty, I just really don't want Marty gone. It kills me thinking of him wearing another jersey.

I realize for the long term future and success of the team, Parise is much more important. But alot of time when it comes to sports teams and my favorite player, I think too personal about it. But this isn't just my favorite Devil or one of my favorite players, this is my favorite hockey player ever.

Bottom line, thank God I'm not a GM and I really want both of them back.

(No flaming please? )

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a waverunner. So it's like the same thing.

I always said I'd keep working, but I'm starting to believe that with 100 million dollars, I can definitely buy ways to occupy my time.

she needs to be flexible too, they may have budget concerns and kick her out the door anyway

Easier said than done. The amount opening for teachers anywhere is atrocious.

In the grand scheme of things, probably. Especially if they start a family sometime soon and have kids.

But she will have an opinion and I'm sure Zach is probably spending this evening talking to her, although she probably can't get a word in edgewise over J.P. if he's there as well.

Next year doesn't really matter as much as the year after that. Malkin is probably due for a raise, plus they have a good amount of pending UFA's.

Teaching is very political. She can put "Mrs. Parise" down on her resume and the city that Parise plays for will hire her.

I don't think she has that much pull in negotiations, but if she said "there is no way in hell I am moving to Detroit" I'm willing to bet Parise would listen.

Even though I don't know a thing about her, she knows what she signed up for when she agreed to marry a pro athlete, though.

I would be surprised if JP was even in the picture today
