Also read that Colorado signed former Ranger Thomas Pock for their AHL team.

Brule had some moments in Phoenix - not enough for me to endorse him but Sather has liked him a lot in the past. Phoenix is going to offer him a contract but it won't be for a lot of money.

I'd expect Bouwmeester to be an amnesty buyout, but I'm not sure what's going on in Feaster's head.

Speaking of Marian Hossa, I noticed that Raffi Torres got his 25 game suspension reduced by 4 games today? Instead of 25 games, he'll get 21 games.

Calgary has a great collection of mediocre talent.

Should do well enough to finish 10th.

Hudler signing is alright, but it will be interesting to see how he does without Zetterberg. I also think this means Jagr is going to Calgary to play with his buddies, would not be shocked to see the Flames sign Roszival to a contract with NMC. lol

They're really trying to replicate the 98-04 Ranger teams. "Just one more free agent and we can contend".
They should have blown that team up 2 years ago.

They have a great collection of overpaid and mediocre talent to go along with a collection of one of the worst prospect pools in the league (although, to their credit, Sven Bartschi is an AWESOME prospect . . . but it's awful empty otherwise).

If Cammalleri didn't have a 6m cap hit i wouldn't mind seeing him as a plan E or F lol. Or im still high from his playoff run with MTL 3 years ago haha?

You really cant blame Feaster. he really has no choice but to clutch at straws. The Flames drafted terribly before he got there.

Calgary is going to be just good enough next year to be very close to making the playoffs, once again denying Iginla and Kiprusoff the chance to be traded to a serious contender.

I want to see Iggy win a Cup.

I wonder what Dubinsky and Anisimov would land us from Calgary: Iginla and two years of their first pick?

Here is the tweet I referenced earlier.

Jagr will wait until big boys get signed before he decides. As many as 12 teams interested, incl Mtl. Jagr would love to play with Habs.

Give it up, Rutherford. You're not getting Nash unless Skinner goes the other way.

What about Mark Jankowski? GM Jay Feaster said he can be the best player from the draft 10 yrs.

With the players he's signing and the pay and longevity of them, I'm not so sure myself.
