We dont have to forget that we have Scott Gomez in the team as were speaking.

He's the 3rd line center if we acquired Ryan for Plekanec as we speculate.

Pacioretty Desharnais Cole
Ryan Eller Gionta
Bourque Gomez Armstrong
Prust White Moen

Galchenyuk isnt ready. His skating needs improvement.
Maybe they feel Leblanc is ready for 3rd line duties.

We could also sign Jokinen or maybe Moore

Ryan would be nice but we don't have the right assets to make it happen. I say it's more likely MB stays in his comfort zone and trades for a guy like Havlat. The guy is just 31, reasonable cap hit (5M), signed long-term. If he can stay healthy, he's an amazing player. Huge upgrade over guys like Jagr and Kovalev.
