Please post your lines now. I remeber they lookes good before that. Now it is even better. Juri is the guy who excels playing with big bodies. If you still have them then this is a good signing. Pleymaker at the wing.

Ah that makes more sense. TSN's tracker has it at 2 years, $8MM per.

16 points in 18 games between Iggy and Tanguay.

Was hoping for Jagr, but Hudler should be a good role model for Roman Cervenka.

I think he'll do well in Calgary. We've had too many of his type in Detroit, but I can imagine Hudler being more suited to play for the Flames. The salary might be a little steep though.

its a good signing if there a real playoff team but cmon

what the hell is feaster doing? he must be trying to go for some miracle cup run like LA but the fact is LA underachieved most of the year and the flames did not

another year where its on iggys back to make the playoffs

They can still trade Bouw for more cap space

There a FA's from a few NHL teams you need to be leery of the system that may have made guys better than they are.

Phoenix, seems to be able to take goalies and make them look all world. Detroit seems to me to be the kind of team that, well shall we say, gets the most out of players offensive upside.

Not a bad signing, unless there is NMC or NTC in there.

I wish I knew what it felt like to have $52million burning a hole in my pocket. Feaster is like the computer GM in NHL 12.

Jun 27 Wideman, Dennis D $26.25M 5 $5.25M
Jun 27 Comeau, Blake LW $1.25M 1 $1.25M
Jun 29 Sarich, Cory D $4M 2 $2M
Jun 29 Stempniak, Lee RW $5M 2 $2.5M
Jul 2 Hudler, Jiri LW $16M 4 $4M

Top six for #Flames now potentially Iginla, Cammalleri, Tanguay, Cervenka, Hudler, Baertschi, depending on how C roles play out.
Choose the centers out of a hat?

Like the player but at that price, no thanks. How does Feaster have a job? Feel sorry for Flames fans.

Expect loads of Avs fans lambasting you now that you have a(nother) bad contract...Hudler has been the scapegoat and I doubt he gets any better in Calgary.

I think its a pretty solid signing overall. I think he could put up 40-45 points on the Flames second line. Doesnt replace Jokinens production though.

They still have to re-sign Backlund and only have 4m in cap space left so I think thats it for UFA signings(no Jagr)

What if the Flames want three scoring lines?

Who is to say they can only have two?

Not a bad signing at all.

I assume Babchuk will be gone, as well as Stajan. There's 6M there and if they can get somebody to bite on Bouw, then they're nearly 14M under. Off-season's not done yet.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. This is a good signing for the Flames. I'm sure a lot of teams would have offered 4M for Hudler.

It's a little over what he's actually worth but that's how UFA ends up generally. It's not a bad signing in that sense but I don't know why Calgary isn't rebuilding, they must really want to finish 8th or 9th every year.

This is a solid deal for both parties.

Nice move on Calgary's part.

This deal is not as bad as some are making it out to be. Hudler will have the opportunity to get top six minutes and is capable of producing at a high level when he has chemistry with his line mates. A 50+ point season is not out of his reach. This has the potential to be a solid signing.
